Introduction

We, the owners of Flints - David and Kay, are both retired: David from the Royal Navy and cathedral administration and Kay, an art historian, from working in that field mainly for an auction house. We are in our mid 70s, are fit and active

Flints is, at its name implies, a brick and flint house originally built as a school hall in 1872 and part of it is a high-ceilinged hall with large windows giving it a light and airy feel. We bought the house in 2009 and completely

Responsibilities

As mentioned, we would ask that guests keep the garden watered in dry weather, also the few pots in the conservatory. Otherwise it is just to provide a presence in the house whilst we are away.
